Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Forrest County at the Forrest County Chancery Court building, located at 641 Main St., Hattiesburg, Mississippi, until 9:00 A.M., on January 29 , 2026 and shortly thereafter publicly opened for the following:

Plans and specifications are on file in the Office of the Purchase Clerk of Forrest County at Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Plans and Proposals must be purchased from www.sd-wprojects.com. Electronic bids may be submitted at www.sd-wprojects.com but may also be submitted in hard copy at the Office of the Purchase Clerk. Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will not be considered in making the award.

It is desired by the Board that the successful bidder or bidders use local materials and local labor where practicable.

Minority and women’s business enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities and equipment, material and/or supply needs. A minority participation goal of 20% is included in this project.

The Forrest County Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids.
